Jessica Bond colorist + stylist

Starting with cutting the hair of her dolls and cats, at age 3, it always seemed clear what Jessica was meant to do. After moving around the midwest and south, she received her license in 1997 and began her dream career as a hairdresser. In 2002, she opened Scissortail, a salon in Tulsa, which quickly expanded into a creative collective that included painters, sculptors, photographers, and musicians...to name a few. Always drawing inspiration from her surroundings, Jessica started finding new ways to combine her understanding of light, color, and shape into personalized haircuts and color for her clients.

She has received advanced training from Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, Bumble & bumble, Davines, and Paul Mitchell, and stays busy assisting at NY Fashion Week along with other editorial projects. She truly loves cutting, coloring, and styling, and enjoys the creative freedom and range of style her New York clients provide her.
