Marcos Diaz is originally from Laguna Beach, California where he worked as a Firefighter for six years before taking a position as the Personal Assistant to Jonathan Antin at Jonathan Salon in Beverly Hills. While there, he was featured in Season 3 of the Bravo Network show "Blowout". In 2007 he relocated to New York and began working at world renowned Bumble and Bumble Salon before finding his home at ION Studio in May of 2009. He began his career in Editorial and Fashion Show work by Assisting industry legends Sam McKnight, Paul Hanlon, Ward, Rolando Beauchamp, Marco Santini, and Leonardo Manetti. For the past four seasons he has done the ready-to-wear collections in New York, London, Milan, and Paris for Isaac Miazrahi, LizClaiborne, Max Azria, Missoni, FENDI, Moschino, Nicole Miller, Garreth Pugh, Carlos Miele, Mulberry, Nicole Farhi, and many more.

Besides Fashion week, Marcos Diaz has also collaborated on Advertising campaigns and Editorial projects for American Eagle, Target, Bloomingdales, French Vogue, German Vogue, Teen Vogue, V Magazine, and Elle Magazine.
