ION Studio is a sustainable hair salon and Eco-Hair Academy in New York City, owned by celebrated editorial hairstylists Marco Santini, Pasquale Ferrante and Leonardo Manetti, whose hairstyles are featured on the runways, in countless high fashion magazines and major advertising campaigns. ION Studio’s mission is to provide fashion forward hair styling, haircuts and colors which are also sustainable for the environment.
The unique and simplistic design of the salon houses custom-made furniture made from recycled materials. 100% of the energy used by the salon is green, meaning every dollar spent is invested into making more green energy. We use products with the lowest carbon footprint possible while making sure they still perform at the highest level. We recycle, reuse, and limit our overall energy use, and carefully selected staff is trained how to provide top-notch service without being wasteful. We strive to help our clients not only transform physically, but also change the way they use energy in their own lives.
Our staff completes a rigorous and ongoing hair education program. From learning how to style hair fit for top models on the runways, to utilizing appropriate tools for every client’s type of hair, the staff at ION Studio holds themselves to a higher standard. Stylists from around the world visit ION Studio to take their careers to the next level while attending classes at our Eco Hair Academy.
