Born and raised in Brazil, Renata landed in New York seven years ago and began her love affair with the beauty industry while assisting makeup artist Peter Phillips and hair stylist Kevin Ryan. Having worked on countless videos and editorial shoots, she continued her training and is working towards becoming a hair stylist who creates looks which represent her deep appreciation for Brazilian culture. She dreams of one day opening up her own Capoeira School, which is an Afro-Brazilian art-form that combines elements of martial arts, music and dance.
