Pasquale Ferrante, Co-Owner

Born in Italy near Naples, Pasquale Ferrante started styling at the age of 15.

In 1990, with a desire to travel and discover new philosophies and ideas, he moved to London. Pasquale began styling at Toni & Guy soon after, where his position grew to Art Director of the Covent Garden salon. He went on to become a distinguished teacher for the Toni & Guy Academy.

Pasquale moved to New York in 1996, where he quickly established himself as a session hairstylist. Over the next decade, he worked with numerous magazines including Vogue (Spain), Vogue (Italy) and Vogue (Russia), Teen Vogue, i-D, Vanity Fair, Elle and Elle (UK), Purple, The New York Times, Dazed and Confused and many more. In the process, elite names in fashion photography – including Terry Richardson, David LaChapelle, Arthur Elgort, Enrique Badulescu, Cedric Buchet, Victor Demarchelier, and the late Francesco Scavullo – discovered Pasquale’s talent.

As a lead stylist at New York Fashion Week, Pasquale collaborated with such designers as Giorgio Armani, Proenza Schouler, Three As Four, and Lela Rose. Akris, Agent Provocateur, Mandy Coon His work can be seen in advertising campaigns for Levi’s, John Varvatos, G-Star, Keds and Diesel.

Pasquale also has a strong celebrity following, counting Kate Winslet, Christy Turlington, Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Veronica Webb, Colbie Collait, Daniel Merriweather, Mischa Barton, KT Tunstall and Karolina Kurkova as clients.

Realizing a life-long dream in 2008, Pasquale opened ION Studio in New York City with business partners Leonardo Manetti and Marco Santini.
