Kimberley Pierce

Kimberley was educated at Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, where she discovered her natural talent and love for color. After graduating, she worked as an apprentice at the celebrity-filled Sally Hershberger at John Frieda Salon in West Hollywood and focused all of her creative energy learning the French highlighting technique called Balayage and perfecting the ever-challenging importance of safe color correction. She quickly became sought after by celebrity and fashion- minded clients for her color correction talents and her natural-looking balayage highlights, giving any blonde, brunette or redhead that extra something special.

After five years at John Frieda, Kimberley decided she was in need of a change and moved to the East Coast. She spent time in Miami doing freelance haircolor work for photo shoots before making her way to New York City in the fall of 2009. Kimberley worked as an educator at a new boutique hair academy, Arrojo Cosmetology in Soho where, she taught hair color and cutting techniques. Although she loved teaching, Kimberley found that she missed being in the salon and working with clients, so she made her way to Suite 303 in the Chelsea Hotel before joining the team at ION Studio.
